This adaptation of the traditional Log Cabin method gives an authentic look, but with speed, accuracy and no waste! It is possible to make all twelve blocks for the throw size quilt in one day. Although designed as a two-day workshop, participants may sign up for one day or both.

On day one we will cover colour selection, cutting and block assembly. The afternoon will be spent making as many blocks as you wish, or cutting all the elements of a larger project.

Those continuing on day two can spend the morning completing their set of blocks, while the basics of the pattern are gone over with newcomers. The afternoon of day two will be spent exploring the many and varied ways that Log Cabin can be laid out in quilts, and a chance will be given to all participants to plan the completion of projects begun at the workshop.
